Applying for NCLEX (National Council Licensure Examination)

1. Apply for graduation!

2. Successfully complete all degree requirements.

3. Complete and submit a Transcript Request form if a transcript is required by the state to which you are applying. Indicate sending once degree is posted.

4. Follow the instructions for application by examination on the Board of 护理 网站 for the state in which you intend to become licensed.

5. Identify the correct program code. Note that the code may not indicate the campus where the 护理 program was completed.

6. Other important candidate information can be found at the National Council of State Boards of 护理 (NCSBN) 网站.

7. Students requiring accommodations for the NCLEX should review the Candidate Bulletin found on the National Council of State Boards of 护理 网站 or contact the Board of 护理 in the state where licensure is sought.

Students Taking NCLEX And Seeking Licensure In Minnesota

2. Follow the instructions to apply for licensure by exam.

3. Once degrees have been conferred, the director of nursing or designee electronically approve those who have applied to the Minnesota Board of 护理.

Students Taking NCLEX And Seeking Licensure In North Dakota

2. Follow the instructions to apply for licensure by exam.

3. Request that transcripts with conferred degree be sent to the North Dakota Board of 护理 by completing the Transcript Request form. Once your application is complete, the North Dakota BON will send you the Authorization to Test (ATT). This may be delivered electronically, so be sure to use an email address which you check routinely.

It is the graduate's responsibility to make sure he or she meets the requirements to take the NCLEX and become licensed in states other than Minnesota or North Dakota. Boards of 护理 outside of this region may have different requirements.
